Pearce Counselling Philosophy

I believe that we all have the potential to lead a fulfilling and happy life but often, when faced with stressful situations, we struggle, feel “stuck” and suffer.

I believe that counseling can provide relief from negative symptoms by helping us understand our difficulties, opening up possibilities for positive change and teaching us new strategies to cope with future difficulties.

I believe that counseling encourages a positive outlook, taps into our strength and resources, raises our self-esteem, promotes positive thinking, teaches useful skills to manage relationships and develops self insight.
